San Diego's Local Junk Removal Team
We're not a franchise, not a call center, not a national chain.
We're your San Diego neighbors — and we show up like it.
Our Story
Got Junk SD was founded right here in San Diego by locals who were tired of overpriced, unreliable junk removal companies.
We built our business the right way — showing up on time, pricing fairly, and treating every customer like a neighbor. Because they are.
From our first garage cleanout to hundreds of jobs across San Diego County, the mission has never changed: give people a stress-free way to reclaim their space, at a price that makes sense, with people they can trust.
We're proud to serve our community — and proud that so many of our customers come back, or send their friends and family our way.
What We Stand For
Three simple values guide everything we do at Got Junk SD.
Eco-First Mindset
We donate usable items to local charities and recycle everything we can before anything touches a landfill. Doing the right thing for San Diego's environment isn't optional — it's built into how we work.
Locally Owned
We're not a franchise. Got Junk SD is a San Diego company, staffed by San Diego people. When you hire us, your money stays in the community — and you get service from people who actually care.
No-Nonsense Service
We show up when we say we will, give you a real price upfront, and we don't leave until the job is done right. No games, no hidden fees, no excuses. Simple as that.
Recycling & Donation Partnerships
We don't just haul junk to the landfill. We actively sort, donate, and recycle as much as possible.
Every load we pick up goes through a sorting process. Usable items — furniture, clothing, household goods — are donated to local charity partners. Metals, electronics, and recyclables go to certified recycling facilities. Only what truly can't be reused or recycled ends up at the landfill.
It's not just good for the environment — it's the right thing to do for our San Diego community.
Goodwill San Diego
Furniture, clothing, household items, and books in good condition go directly to Goodwill for resale and job training programs.
Habitat for Humanity ReStores
Salvageable building materials, appliances, and furniture are donated to Habitat ReStores to fund affordable housing projects.
Local Metal Recyclers
Scrap metal, appliances, and structural materials are taken to certified metal recycling facilities — keeping valuable materials out of landfills.
E-Waste Recyclers
All electronics are taken to certified e-waste recycling facilities, ensuring responsible disposal of batteries, circuit boards, and hazardous components.
